The Boxer breed is a fantastic dog that often has a mistaken perception as being a fussy and slightly skittish animal. In fact this is far from the truth, by nature they need a great amount of attention and love and without this they become skittish. Indeed, if you lead a very active lifestyle that means you will have to spend a lot of time away from the home then you are probably wise not to get a Boxer dog.

Boxers are of a distinguishable breed!

You can never get enough of Boxer dogs' good traits! They're always alert and watchful, definitely an instinctive guard dog, but also a cozy housedog that is sensitive to temperature extremes.

Even their personality is great!

Boxers are calm dogs that will not bark without cause. Their expressive faces - the wrinkled forehead and dark, touching eyes - are a charming quality that sets the Boxer family apart from other breeds.

If you ask a boxer dog owner about the resemblance of his dog to himself, he'd probably tell you that his dog can almost mirror his mood!

So you wouldn't think it was my biased opinion, many devoted and content owners of Boxers dogs have come up with a long list of attributes and traits of their favorite pet.

Dogs have their own set of behavioral problems. Lack of proper training methods may badly affect your dog's behavior and turn your beloved pet into a disobedient, aggressive or unruly dog. As a dog owner you should be aware of these problems and train your dog accordingly.

If your dog bites or tears up your furniture, this is not the dog’s fault. These are types of behavior problems that most dogs show signs of having and it’s up to you, the owner, to train your dog to know what is acceptable and what is not.

Aggression related dog behavior problems include biting, jumping, barking uncontrollably and not obeying commands. Once a dog ages from a puppy to an adult, it will become much harder to train. Training should start from an early stage, so that these tendencies do not become dog behavior problems.
